The present invention relates to methods for treatment or prevention of neoplasia disorders using protein tyrosine kinase inhibitor in combination with a selective cyclooxygenase inhibitor, in particular cyclooxygenase-2 selective inhibitor, wherein said inhibitor is 5-[5-fluoro-2-oxo-1.2-dihydroindol-3-ylidenemethyl-1H-pyrrole-3 carboxilic acid (2-diethylaminoethyl)amid or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof and said cyclooxygenase-2 selective inhibitor is 4-[5-(4-methylphenyl)-3-(trifluoromethyl)-1H-pyrazol-1-yl] phenylsulfonamide (celioxyb) or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt.
