<p>The device (1) has an operating device (3) with a radial flange (19) placed near an axial end of a tubular portion (18) and a set of fingers (29) circumferentially distributed around the tubular portion. The fingers are radially deformable for self-aligning an antifriction bearing (2) and for axially retaining the bearing with respect to the operating device. The fingers present, in cross-section by a plane perpendicular to rotational axis of the device, an arc length which varies according to a radial distance between an arc and the rotational axis. An independent claim is also included for an operating device for a self-aligning clutch release bearing device.</p> |
