<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a label data preparation device, a program and a recording medium for quickening a label tape preparing operation, and for improving operating efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: A CPU 41 of a computer device 2 performs the preparation processing of template data by an editor through a display device 5 or a keyboard 6 or the like (S1). Then, when a transfer instruction is made, a CPU 41 selects a tape printer 3 having a model name shown in a transfer destination selection column 85 of a display screen as the transfer destination of print data, and prepares print data configured of block information or text data or the like configuring the template (S2 to S4).
