PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem with an air conditioner having an ion generator in which dust floating in air is attracted and adhered to a wall surface, to which an indoor unit casing or an indoor unit is attached, due to charging of the ion generator or the vicinity thereof, thereby contaminating the wall surface. SOLUTION: A conductor 2 is set in the vicinity of the negative ion generator 1, or a part arranged in the vicinity of the negative ion generator 1 is formed of a conductor, whereby charging to the indoor unit casing is suppressed by discharge from the conductor.
