PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle body skeleton structure capable of ensuring productivity of a vehicle body skeleton member while enhancing joint strength of the vehicle body skeleton member and a member to be joined. SOLUTION: In the skeleton structure 10 of a vehicle body floor part, a skeleton part 40 of a front side member 16 forms a closed cross section structure C2 with a floor panel 12 by joining flanges 36, 38 of the front side member 16, i.e., the vehicle body skeleton member to the floor panel 12. A rear end of the front side member 16 is made to a gradual variation part 42 in which width of the flanges 36, 38 in a direction perpendicular to its longitudinal direction is continuously enlarged toward a rear end and development length of the skeleton part 40 in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction is continuously reduced toward the rear end.
