PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve both functionality for flexibly adjusting the sitting feeling of a chair and excellent outside appearance as furniture. SOLUTION: The chair comprises a pump 9 for injecting air into an air bag disposed inside a backrest 2, an operation member 5 to be operated with fingers by a user, and a transmission mechanism 6 for driving the pump 9 by utilizing the operation of the operation member 5.
