WASTE TREATMENT METHOD AND SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste treatment method and system which can perform stable and efficient treatment when dry methane fermentation of waste is carried out. SOLUTION: The waste treatment system comprises dry methane fermentation equipment 15 for carrying out the methane fermentation of organic waste 31, and waste incineration equipment 16 for incinerating combustible waste 30. The organic waste 31 comprises night soil or septic tank sludge. A screen residue 29 extracted from the night soil or septic tank sludge is fed into the dry methane fermentation equipment 15 together with other organic waste 31. At least a part of digested sludge 28 from the dry methane fermentation equipment is fed into the waste incineration equipment 16 without solid-liquid separation. Waste heat 40 generated in the waste incineration equipment 16 is used for warming the dry methane fermentation equipment 15. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
