The rheometer has a carrier plate (P) for impedance spectroscopy of a cell rage. A reference electrode and a measuring electrode are vacuum-metallized on the carrier plate for measuring transcellular electrical resistance of a cell culture medium. The electrodes are formed from titanium, where a titanium layer is directly vacuum-metallized on the carrier plate. Three measuring electrodes isolated by the reference electrode are arranged approximately on the plate with the angle separation of 120 degrees, where contact connections (A) of the measuring electrodes are guided outwardly.
