<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a precordial region protector having fit feeling at its cuff parts when worn, and designed so that shift of the protector does not result in disturbing actions of striking, throwing, running, catching and the like. <P>SOLUTION: The precordial region protector is provided with a precordial region body part 1 at one side of which a front body part 2 of a cuff part is formed; a back body part 3 of the cuff part which is made of stretchable material and the lower end part 10 of which is cut into an obliquely upper direction; and a waist wrapping part 4 made of stretchable material. The front body part 2 and the back body part 3 of the cuff part are joined to each other at their upper end parts 5, 8, the lower end part 10 of the back body part 3 is joined to the side part 7 of the front body part of the cuff part while the back body part 3 is half twisted, the waist wrapping part 4 is connectedly joined to the other side of the precordial region body part 1. A pair of connectable fasteners 12, 12 are set between the one side part of the fastener and the one side part of the back body part or the front body part of the cuff part, a pocket 13 made of stretchable material is formed at the surface of the precordial region protector 1, and a shock-absorbing material 14 is inserted into the pocket 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
