<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alternator for a vehicle which can improve the cooling performance of a rectifier and is easy in manufacturing, and can suppress the increase of cost. <P>SOLUTION: This alternator for the vehicle is equipped with a cooling fan which rotates in cooperation with a rotor, a stator which has a stator coil, and a rectifier 5 which rectifies an electromotive force of an AC generated by the stator coil into a DC. The rectifier 5 is equipped with a plurality of rectifying elements 502 on a positive electrode side and rectifying elements 504 on a negative electrode side, metallic heat radiating fins 501 on positive electrode sides and metallic heat radiating fins 503 on negative electrode side where these rectifying elements are press-fitted in mounting holes, and a cooling plate 505 on the positive electrode side and a cooling plate 506 on the negative electrode side whose one end is caught between the rectifying element and the mounting hole. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
