PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set attribute information containing an address to electronic equipment simply and reliably. SOLUTION: A user attribute information acquisition system A has a basic resident register network X. The basic resident register network X has a receiver and a resident card data management section B. The receiver includes a television (TV) receiver body 1, communication equipment 3, an attribute information storage (memory) 5, and a CPU 7. The resident card data management section B has communication equipment 15 communicable to the communication equipment 3, is installed in a municipality, or the like, and includes a resident card database 11 for storing data containing a basic resident register, and a management section 17 for managing the database.
