PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect the whole soil improving machine without reducing operation efficiency of a device by performing a retry such as redriving by stopping a driving part once in response to a continuing state of an overload state when detecting abnormality of a load state. SOLUTION: This agitating mixer of the soil improving machine performs mixing agitating processing on earth and a soil improver by rotation of a blade, and is constituted so that an overload protective device 11 releases the connection of a driven part and a driving part when becoming an overload state when output torque becomes a predetermined value or more by arranging the overload protective device 11 between the driven part and the driving part, and also has a signal processing means for stopping driving of the driving part when the overload state continues by starting the driving of the driving part again after a predetermined vary small time passes by stopping the driving of the driving part once when becoming the overload state by detecting the abnormality of the load state on the basis of a detecting signal of a sensor 16 for detecting a rotation state on the driven part side of the overload protective device 11.
