PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for desalting industrial waste removing inorganic salts contained in industrial waste and facilitating thermal recycling, while preventing emulsification of drain. SOLUTION: Industrial waste containing inorganic salts and washing water are stored in an agitating tank 3, an acidity of pH 3 or less and a given temperature range are maintained, and cutter-like agitation blades 9 having shearing function are rotated at a speed more than a required speed to agitate the industrial waste and washing water.
