Sealing device has vibratory plates (3) driven by one or more unbalance motors, on whose upper side (2) a template-like holding frame (1) is removably or irremovably fastened, into which at least one gabion (17) is put. The sides (4,5,6,7) of the holding frame surround the walls (16,27) of the gabion in a roughly positive way during the sealing process to prevent a relative movement between gabion and holding frame.
