PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive drainage ditch block for vegetation and a sandbag for vegetation, easy in carrying, and capable of effectively using excavated sediment. SOLUTION: The drainage ditch block for vegetation is formed by using any of a corrugated board, timber, biodegradable plastic or a wire net, and is composed of a first member 11 (21) and a second member 12 (22). Both the first member 11 (21) and the second member 12 (22) have a hollow part 13 (23), and can be carried in a miniaturized state by inserting the first member 11 (21) into the hollow part of the second member 12 (22). The sediment excavated at a laying site of a drainage channel is inputted to the hollow part 13 (23) together with seeds of plants. A port is closed by putting the U-shaped or V-shaped sandbag 14 similarly to the drainage ditch block so as not to spill out the sediment, and a stable drainage ditch is formed by thickly growing the plants.
