PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove extrinsic noises triggering image degradation in an X-ray imaging apparatus. SOLUTION: Extrinsic noise detecting elements of the number less than that of rows are provided to read pixels for each row and simultaneously to extract output of the extrinsic noise detecting elements. The number of the extrinsic noise detecting elements is reduced by synchronizing the reading of one extrinsic noise detecting element with the reading of pixels of a plurality of rows.
