PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable diaper effectively preventing feces once passing through a skin contact sheet and falling on a top sheet from being attached to the buttocks of a wearer. SOLUTION: This disposable diaper 1 is provided with an absorbent body 22, the top sheet 18 disposed covering the upper face of the absorbent body 22 and at least having one part composed of a liquid permeable material, and a back sheet 20 disposed covering the lower face of the absorbent body 22 and composed of a liquid impermeable material, and is further provided with the skin contact sheet 24 disposed on the upper part of the top sheet 18 and formed with an opening part (a feces passing opening part 28s) allowing the passing of the feces. The feces passing opening part 28a is so formed that the opening area of an area (a back side area) in the back side of the central line is formed smaller than the opening area of an area (a front side area) in the front side of the central line in the front/rear direction.
