The present invention provides a food waste disposal device including: an input unit discharging waste water through one side, discharging food waste and cleaning water by opening and closing a bottom surface, and collecting food waste using an internal filtering container; a grinding unit grinding the food waste discharged through the bottom surface of the input unit; a drying unit drying the food waste and removing moisture from the food waste while the food waste grounded by the grinding unit is received inside a drying container and discharging waste water or cleaning water generated when the food waste is ground by the grinding unit; a power unit rotating the drying container; and an air blowing unit sending dry air to the drying unit. More specifically, the drying unit is separated from the power unit by a bottom surface. An axial rod protrudes from the bottom surface of the drying unit. A driven magnetic body having magnetics arranged and installed in a rim part and rotating while being seated in the axial shaft is formed in the lower side of the drying container. A driving magnet body wherein magnets are arranged and installed in a rim part corresponding to the driven magnetic body is formed in a rotary shaft of a first motor for rotating the drying container, thus the power unit enables the power of the first motor to be transmitted to the drying container by magnetic power between the driven and driving magnetic bodies. Accordingly, the food waste disposal device is capable of preventing the risk of fire due to the corrosion of the power unit and an electrical short by preventing waste water or cleaning water from flowing into the power unit. |
