<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system in a handrail lighting when a sensor detects the approach of a person even in darkness. <P>SOLUTION: This luminous handrail has a structure that an appearance is luminously visible in the whole pipe by lighting an LED when the human body detecting sensor detects that the person approaches the handrail by providing the human body detecting sensor 2 built in a battery pack 3 on both ends by arranging the LED 6 wired in parallel at a specific interval in a hollow pipe 1 used for the handrail manufactured by a light diffusing raw material such as resin and glass fiber.
