PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for moving a heavy structure by which a roller rod for placing the heavy structure on a subgrade material and moving it is eliminated, and the work like replacement of a rail clamp according to a jack stroke is facilitated. SOLUTION: A hydraulic jack 5 is connected to a movable clamp 6 movably fixed to the subgrade material 2. A pushing member 13 is connected to the hydraulic jack 5. An end of a first frame body 12 is urged in the moving direction by the pushing member 13. The first frame body 12 is provided with a sliding member 11 sliding on the subgrade material 2. A second frame body 14 and an elastic material 15 for placing the heavy structure 3 are provided above the first frame body 12 in a layered manner. Therefore, by urging the first frame body 12, the heavy structure 3 can be moved along the subgrade material 2. After the movement by a predetermined distance, positioning etc. for the subsequent movement is facilitated since the members are connected to each other. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
