The invention relates to a method for loading programs via a SIM interface (SIMSS), a SIM program loading device (SIMPLE), and a control circuit (SS) for carrying out said method. The aim of the invention is to be able to load programs from a data terminal program memory (DEPS) into a radio module program memory (FMPS) connected to a SIM card (SIMK) by means of a SIM program loading device (SIMPLE), whereby the SIM program loading device (SIMPLE) is to be operable on various SIM supply voltages, especially 1.8 V and 3 V. To this end, the SIM program loading device (SIMPLE) comprises, inter alia, a control circuit (SS) and a supply voltage selector switch (VSU). A supply voltage output (VSA) can be connected to a second supply voltage input (VSUE2) by the control circuit (SS) when the control circuit (SS) identifies an operating voltage on the first input (E1) which is close to a first low threshold value. In this case, the supply voltage for operating a voltage level converter (SPU) of the SIM program loading device (SIMPLE) is provided by an external voltage supply (ESV). The supply voltage output (VSA) can also be connected to a first supply voltage input (VSUE1) by the control circuit (SS) when the control circuit (SS) identifies an operating voltage on the first input (E1) which is close to a second higher threshold value. In the latter case, the supply voltage for operating the voltage level converter (SPU) of the SIM program loading device (SIMPLE) is provided via the SIM interface (SIMSS). |
