PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centrifuge capable of improving the cooling efficiency during an introduction of cooling air from outside by relaxing influence of high-temperature exhaust. SOLUTION: A door inside space 3a is formed between the door cover 31 and the inside plate 32 constituting the door 3 of the centrifuge 1. The inside plate 32 has an opening 33f connecting between the door inside space 3a and the rotor chamber 41a. Clearances 3b and 3c connecting between the outside and the door inside space 3a are formed between the door cover 31 and the inside plate 32 almost entirely on the outer periphery of the door 3. When air is introduced from outside through the door inside space 3a to the rotor chamber 41a owing to rotation of the rotor 71, air is sucked from outside through the clearances 3b and 3c to the door inside space 3a.
