PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flexible boot for a uniform universal joint in which by changing a figure of a caulking portion and a caulking method in an adapter and a bellows, contact force or interaction force between the adapter and the bellows are mitigated to permit bellows breaking possibility to be reduced. SOLUTION: There is provided the flexible boot which is arranged between an outer circumference of an outside joint member 10 and that of an intermediate portion of a shaft 22 connected to an inside joint member 20. The flexible boot includes a metallic and tubular adapter whose one end is inserted into the outer circumference of the outside joint member 10, and a bellows 22 whose one end is connected to the other end of the adapter 72 and whose other end is inserted into the intermediate portion of the shaft 22 and further which is fixed to the shaft 22 by tightening force of a boots band 80. In this case, the one end of the bellows 71 surrounds the other end of the adapter 72. Then, a cover portion 81 is provided consecutively to the bellows 71 to thus cover the boots band 80.
