PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display characters corresponding to incoming calls and e-mail in a display format desired by a receiver-side user to easily identify users who are senders of the incoming calls and e-mail based on the display format of the displayed characters. SOLUTION: Name, telephone number, e-mail address, and fonts, colors and sizes of characters, which are used for displaying e-mail texts, are configured and registered in advance for every user who is registered in a telephone or address book. When a list of sent and received e-mail is displayed on a screen, a controller detects fonts, colors and sizes of characters, which are configured and registered for each user, and then forms a list of the sent and received e-mail using the detected fonts, colors and sizes of characters to display it on the screen.
