摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of the waste of a portion of X rays not striking a dispersive crystal when edge faces of parallel ends are away from the dispersive crystal because X rays which are emitted from the parallel ends made by tying numerous capillaries in a bundle in parallel diffuse principally. SOLUTION: A multi-capillary X-ray lens has a contour squeezed as a whole in accordance with the curvature of the central line of the capillaries located on the outermost periphery so that the line can be pointed toward the central axis A by an angle corresponding to the critical angleθin the end part of the lens for emitting parallel X rays. Such a shape of the lens allows the X rays diffusing outward principally to progress just in parallel with the central axis A, whereby the range irradiated with the X rays emitted from the edge faces is made much as large as the size of the edge faces and is also independent of the clearance from the edge faces.
