<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet printer which performs ink jetting with high accuracy and has high productivity at the same time. <P>SOLUTION: The ink jet printer includes an ink jetting section unit comprising an ink jetting section having a plurality of ink jetting ports arranged in a first direction to jet the ink, a moving means having a moving shaft in the first direction and moving the ink jetting section in the first direction, a conveyance means for conveying a base material in a second direction nearly orthogonal to the first direction with respect to the ink jetting section, a means for jetting the ink from the plurality of ink jetting ports in synchronization with the conveyance by the conveyance means to apply the ink to a plurality of the pixel positions on the base material, a means for rotating the ink jetting section with the third direction orthogonal to the first direction and the second direction as the axis of rotation, and a modification means for moving the base material to modify the ink jetting section along the third direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
