PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting device including a semiconductor nanocrystal layer wherein void between semiconductor nanocrystal particles is filled with a filling material and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The light-emitting device includes a first electrode injecting an electron hole, a second electrode for injecting an electron, facing against the first electrode and a semiconductor nanocrystal layer, located between the first electrode and the second electrode, that includes a semiconductor nanocrystal particles and a filling material for filling the void between the semiconductor nanocrystal particles.
