PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an animal trap capable of reliably trapping light-weight animals.SOLUTION: An animal trap includes: a trap container 12 having a first entrance 11; an approach route 15 in which an animal enters from the first entrance 11; an oscillation board 13 for oscillating in forward direction to close the first entrance 11; and temporal lock means 14 for temporarily locking the oscillation board 13 which is oscillated to close the first entrance 11, so as not to let the oscillation board 13 back to the original state. The temporal lock means 14 includes a first lock part 21A and a second lock part 21B disposed on the front end part of the oscillation board 13, in which the first lock part 21A and the second lock part 21B are differently arranged each other with respect to their heights for temporarily locking the oscillation board 13. When an animal enters, the animal trap oscillates the oscillation board 13 to close the first entrance 11 and temporarily lock the oscillation board so as not to let it back to the original state. Even with a light-weight, the oscillation board 13 oscillates so that a light-weight animal can be reliably trapped. |
