PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use a single motor and a single screw shaft for making them perform tilting and telescopic operations. SOLUTION: To the screw shaft 26 supported by a housing 5, a tilt nut 32 is screw-coupled by a friction resistance regulating means 104. A move and stop member 100 is provided to enclose the tilt nut 32 to be relatively movable. A motor 29 provided at the move and stop member 100 is interlock-connected to the tilt nut 32. A telescopic nut 42 screw-coupled to the other end of the screw shaft 26 is then coupled to a jacket tube 11. When the screw shaft 26 is locked, the move and stop member 100 moves for the tilting operation. When it is unlocked, friction resistance with the tilt nut 32 makes the screw shaft 26 rotate for the telescopic operation. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
