PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display apparatus provided with an electromagnetic shield means effective also for external noise entering from a display window of a panel storing case. SOLUTION: In the liquid crystal display panel 100 comprising a liquid crystal display panel 100 including a pair of transparent electrode substrates 110, 120 arranged oppositely through a liquid crystal layer and a conductive panel storing case having a display window 211 on a part corresponding to a display part of the liquid crystal display panel 100 and constituted of storing the liquid crystal display panel 100 in the panel storing case 200; an outside transparent electrode 131 for electromagnetic shield is formed over the whole external surface of an observation surface side first transparent electrode substrate 110 arranged on the side of the display window 211 out of the transparent electrode substrates 110, 120 included in the liquid crystal display panel 100 and the outside transparent electrode 131 is electrically connected to the panel storing case 200 through a conductive means (preferably, conductive rubber 150).
