PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dental handpiece relatively difficult to transmit vibration generated in a head part to a grip part and capable of attenuating the vibration. SOLUTION: A dental treatment appliance is received by a sleeve, the sleeve is rotatably supported to a bearing member, the bearing member and the sleeve are stored in the head part 11, the head part has a connection neck part 11a extending rearward, the connection neck part is insertedly attached at the tip of the grip part 12, the rear end of the grip part is fixed with a rear end casing 13, the head part and the rear end casing are substantially formed of a metal material, the casing of the grip part is substantially formed of a resin material or rubber, the inside of the grip part is inserted with a shaft member 14, and the shaft member reinforces the connecting state between the head part and the grip part.
