The herein coloured leakage tracer is composed of: one ring coloured in white or other colour and made of absorption material (paper, sponge etc) placed inside the neck of the pressure container (bottle); one second spongeous ring placed inside the pressure container at the lower part of the valve thereof; two self-adhesive translucent plastics covering the two surfaces of the external neck ring; and two chemical materials: potassium cyanide mixed with the liquid content of the container and hydrated iron trichloride impregnating the external neck absorption ring. In the event of liquid leak, the two above-mentioned chemical elements are bound to produce chemical reaction changing the colour of the external ring from white-yellow to pale blue colour. |
