The table for backbone traction contains the base with the rectangular frame comprising two longitudinal and two traverse ribs where two panels are located. The table is equipped with the mechanisms providing for the turning movement of the panel, the appliances for fixation of the legs and the head of the patient and for regulation of the traction effort by means of changing the angle between the panel and the base. The table is equipped with the appliance for turning the frame in two mutually perpendicular planes. One panel is intended for placing the back and the head of the patient, while the pelvis and the legs of the patient are disposed on the second panel consisting of two parts with interconnected adjacent end-faces. This panel is equipped with the mechanism providing for their turn and the fixation of the position of one relative to another. The longitudinal rib of the frame contains the thrust capable of moving along the longitudinal rib, which is intended for correcting thepathological flexure of the backbone when the frame turns around its sagittal axis.
