FIELD: railroad repair and maintenance, particularly ballast cutting means including means for cutting pumping areas and transversal trenches in all-purpose ballast prism. ^ SUBSTANCE: device comprises continuous rake chain with rake teeth. The rake chain includes three parts, namely the first, horizontal part, the second part inclined with respect to the first one and central part disposed between the first and the second parts. Motor is located in the second part and connected with rake chain driving sprocket. Run-around rollers, which change direction of rake chain movement, are arranged in the first and central rake chain parts. Suspension system includes horizontal hinge, vertical axis installed on the hinge so that the rake chain may rotate in vertical plane transversal to railroad axis and in horizontal plane by means of hydraulic cylinder. The device is provided with vertical guiding means fastened to track machine frame and with pivot levers made as parallel-link motion mechanism installed on vertical guiding means. The pivot levers are linked to vertical axis to provide additional rake chain rotation in horizontal plane due to parallel-link motion mechanism operation and by means of rake chain hydraulic cylinder. Horizontal hinge is fastened to rake chain so that the first hinge part may rotate in vertical plane through ±30° by means if hydraulic cylinder. ^ EFFECT: extended technical capabilities, simplified structure and increased efficiency of device operation for railroad ballast cutting. ^ 2 dwg |
