PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable telephone capable of obtaining various information simply by the delivery of information utilizing wireless tag. SOLUTION: The portable telephone (10) of this invention includes a wireless tag transceiver (30) for receiving the information transmitted from an external wireless tag and transmitting the information stored in the wireless tag (32) in the portable telephone, a memory (18) for storing the wireless tag information obtained through the wireless tag transceiver (30) and the data of electronic mails transmitted and received through a communication line network, an indicating means (26) for displaying the wireless tag information preserved in the memory (18) onto the display unit (26) of the portable telephone (10), and a transceiving control means (16) for transceiving the data by the external wireless tag and the wireless tag (32) in the portable telephone under the passive state of the portable telephone (10).
