PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device capable of improving the fixing performance of a toner image while suppressing the deflection of a heating roller. SOLUTION: The fixing device 10 is equipped with the heating roller 12 which heats a recording medium P coming into contact with its outer peripheral surface, and two pressure rollers 14 and 15 which come into contact with the outer peripheral surface of the heating roller 12. The pressure rollers 14 and 15 are pressed against the heating roller 12 so that press-contacting force applies from the two pressure rollers 14 and 15 to the heating roller 12 balance with each other. The recording medium P passes through press-contacting parts between the heating roller 12 and pressure rollers 14 and 15 respectively and the toner image is fixed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
