摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology for reducing total current consumption of the electronic circuit as a whole. SOLUTION: A MOSFET M1 is a reference load, through which a reference current flows to obtain a reference voltage corresponding to the reference current. A differential amplifier which amplifies the voltage difference between the two inputs is constituted by M11, M12, M13, and M14. A bias current from a constant current source Ib is supplied to the differential amplifier, and a part of the bias current is supplied to the reference load, M1. Then, the drain potential of M10 is inputted to either of two inputs of the differential amplifier, while a detected voltage corresponding to the magnitude of the current, which is an object for detecting over current is inputted to the other of two inputs of the differential amplifier.
