PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discharge lamp drive control circuit with high efficiency which prevents heat generation by eliminating wasteful power consumption. SOLUTION: The discharge lamp drive control circuit is provided with: an inverter control circuit; a switching circuit driven by the inverter control circuit; a driving transformer which switches a drive power supply voltage of DC by the switching circuit, supplies it to a primary coil, and obtains a high frequency drive signal at the secondary coil; and a DC voltage generating circuit which detects the signal flowing in the primary coil of the driving transformer and generates a DC voltage. The DC voltage generated in the DC voltage generating circuit is made an operating power supply voltage for the inverter control circuit. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
