摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an Eu activated indium tungstate phosphor that does not contain a harmful substance such as cadmium as a constituent component, exhibits a red luminescence by low-velocity electron beam excitation at several hundred volts or below and a light-emitting composition and to provide a fluorescent display. SOLUTION: The red light-emitting phosphor for low-speed electron beam is represented by general formula (In<SB>1-x</SB>Eu<SB>x</SB>)<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>-nWO<SB>3</SB>(n and x are each a number for satisfying conditions of 1≤n≤4 and 0.001≤x≤0.5). The light-emitting composition is obtained by mixing a conductive substance with the phosphor or attaching a conductive substance to the phosphor. The fluorescent screen comprising a fluorescent material containing the phosphor or the light-emitting composition is formed on the anode of a vacuum fluorescent display (VFD) or a field emission-type display (FED).
