<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing and forming apparatus that does not give an operator a trouble of finding out necessary information from a large quantity of manuals and also dispenses with conversion tables by revisions of units. <P>SOLUTION: Current wear degrees of respective units are individually diagnosed in advance from values of wear degree counters by the units to dynamically constitute "a manual needed for reconstitution" containing only necessary entries such as component information on components, which need to be replaced and adjustment information on respective components from diagnosis results.
