<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To deploy an air bag just as intended by producing intended clearance between a terminal part of headliner interior material and an upper edge of side face interior material while keeping good appearance as interior material. <P>SOLUTION: In the terminal part 12 of the headliner interior material 10, a groove 20 is formed on a portion on which the air bag 80 abuts at the time of deployment on a reverse side 12a that is outside a vehicle. Also, a belt-like thin wall part 30 recessed in a belt shape on a side nearer a cabin than a general surface 10b on the reverse side to be thinned is formed on an inner side in a vehicle width direction of the groove 20 on the reverse side 12a. The terminal part 12 of the headliner interior material 10 abuts on the air bag 80 at the time of deployment of the air bag 80 to be folded in a direction swelling toward the cabin SP 1 in a position of the groove 20. Also, the terminal part 12 is folded toward the cabin SP 1 in a position of the belt-like thin wall part 30, thereby producing the clearance CL 1 between the terminal part 12 and the upper edge 42 of the side face interior material 40, and is formed so as to deploy the air bag 80 in the cabin SP 1 from the clearance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
