PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input operation part structure and a cellular phone which can detect changes in electrostatic capacity at an always constant sensitivity and is improved in sense of use on the key input operation of a user irrespective of housing designs and functions of an electronic device such as a cellular phone. SOLUTION: A plurality of numeric keypads T, having key tops 8 exposing on the surface of a casing 2A, which are arranged opposite to a sensor electrode 7 disposed in the casing 2A with a predetermined gap between the sensor electrode and the keypads, are designed so that respective electrostatic capacities are equal.
