PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device the wireless LAN setting of which can easily be executed, and to provide a wireless LAN setting system and method therefor. SOLUTION: A PC and the device are USB-connected, a wireless LAN setting program stored in a storage area B of the device is automatically started on the PC, a wireless LAN interface of the device searches its surrounding wireless LAN environment, the device compares a searched parameter with a parameter of the wireless LAN setting in a storage area A of the device, requests the PC to transmit the wireless LAN setting parameter when the parameters are dissident, the PC extracts the wireless LAN setting parameter from its storage area, transmits the extracted parameter to the device, the device reflects the parameter on the setting of the wireless LAN interface, and the device confirms the wireless LAN connection in an infrastructure mode.
