PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof structure of a switch device capable of reducing an uncomfortable feeling in operation while securing a waterproof property and of further improving operability. SOLUTION: Side surfaces 11b and 11c at rocking direction ends of an operation part 11 of a switch 10 are formed by circular arc surfaces along the same circle centering the rocking center P of the operation part 11, and the waterproof packing 20 mounted in a marginal part of a mounting opening part 2Ab of a housing 2 is brought into sliding contact with an outside surface 11e comprising the side surfaces 11b and 11c at the rocking direction ends of the operation part 11 and side surfaces 11d in a direction perpendicular to the rocking direction, whereby a waterproof effect is enhanced by bringing the waterproof packing 20 into contact with the side surfaces 11b and 11c at the rocking direction ends by generally constant close contact force regardless of the rocking angle of the operation part 11 and an operation surface of the operation part 11 can be kept exposed, so that the operability of the operation part 11 can be prevented from being degraded.
