PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state imaging device, its driving method and imaging apparatus with which a dynamic range can be enlarged while solving trouble caused by variations in the potential of an FD part when a reset transistor is once turned off before sweeping in the case of sweeping only signal charges of a certain fixed level or higher from a photo-electric converting element by controlling a gate level of a transfer transistor. SOLUTION: When controlling the gate level of a transfer transistor 22, the transfer transistor 22 is turned on while turning on a reset transistor 23 and sweeping operation of a half shutter is performed. Thus, potential variations of an FD part 25 are suppressed and a dynamic range is enlarged while solving trouble caused by the potential variations. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
