The module has a peripheral joint (31) mounted after adhesion between an edge of a window pane unit (32) and an edge corresponding to a roof panel (11). The joint presents a plane surface (311) and a branch (312) whose end is directed towards a glue joint (33) and supported against the window pane unit. Another branch (313) of the joint is housed in a blocking housing arranged in the roof panel. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a motor vehicle including a roof module (2) a method for fabricating a roof module for a motor vehicle.
