PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remoistening adhesive having good adhesiveness during application of moisture or preservability under the humidified environment even when used for not only paper or but also a fabric. SOLUTION: The remoistening adhesive comprises a polymer obtained by carrying out graft polymerization of vinylpyrrolidone with PVA (polyvinyl alcohol). The remoistening adhesive preferably contains≥10 wt.% of the polymer prepared by carrying out the graft polymerization of the vinylpyrrolidone with the PVA having 100-4,000 degree of polymerization and 70-100 mol% degree of saponification and having 12-150 K value.
