PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interior part for an automobile installed on the cabin surface side of a side wall panel of a vehicle, achieving superior impact absorption performance by installing an impact absorbing member of which buckling direction at the time of side collision is controllable. SOLUTION: This interior part (door trim) 10 comprises an impact absorption member 30 installed on a back surface of a resin core member 21 at a lower part impact area IA. It comprises a hollow box member 31, having a cam groove part 36 formed in a side wall surface 33 to a guide rib 23 provided on a door trim body 20 in such a way as to cover the guide rib 23. At the time of side collision, the cam groove part 36 slides along an inclination part 23a of the guide rib 23 to lower initial reaction force, while controlling the buckling direction along the inclination direction of the guide rib 23.
