PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toilet for a cat inhibiting fitting in of spherical silica gel laid on a network body into communicating holes in the network body installed upward of a water-absorbing mat in a box. SOLUTION: The toilet A for a cat comprises a box body 1 with a size enough for a cat 5 to enter, the water-absorbing mat 2 put on the bottom of the box body 1, a plastic grating 3 with network structure having many communicating holes with truncated quadrangular pyramidal unit shape (upper side hole has 1.5mm of diameter, bottom side hole has 3mm of diameter) put on the upward of the water-absorbing mat 2 and spherical silica gel 4 with various diameters (2-5mm of diameters) laid down on the network structure in a thickness of 3cm. The sizes of the opening of the communicating holes are less than that of the spherical silica gel 4 and the fitting in of the silica gel 4 into the communicating holes is inhibited.
