<p>Disclosed is a polysaccharide extract of Capsosiphon fulvescens, which is prepared by quick- freezing, drying and grinding Capsosiphon fulvescens of Ulvaceae in the family of green algae, soaking the solid content in water and extracting at 80 °C, and then precipitating in alcohol, and an anticancer drug containing it as an active ingredient. The polysaccharide in hot-water extract of Capsosiphon fulvescens of the present invention can be extracted effectively, and the anticancer drug containing the hot-water extract as its active ingredient is excellent in inhibition of specific growth of cancer cells without harming the gastric adenocarcinoma cell and the colon cancer cell of a human so that it can be utilized as a material for a pharmaceutical composition, a functional food or a dietary supplement.</p> |
